Congjiang Oranges have always been famous in Guizhou Province, but in 2008, there are 23,000 farmers who suffered serious “weak demand”in Congjiang, which makes the oranges are currently facing an unprecedented crisis in sales. It is understood that reasons for poor sales are mainly due to the impact of weak consumer market, the volumn of export fruits dropped significantly, the majority of the fruit shifted to domestic sales and form a large overstocking of fruits, and result in lower prices at last.
