Shanxia lake is located in Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province,China. although the resident population is only 20,000 people, but it occupies 73% of the world’s freshwater pearl production, in which 90% of exports to international markets, it is the world’s largest freshwater pearl base, and therefore it is called the “Pearl Kingdom.” however, Pearl prices have fallen by about half here this year,some of the pearl farmers have decided to abandon salvaging these pearl for escape the winter of sale this year.
